Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account: name, email address, and a hashed password. Hatch never stores a password in a readable form.
• Your orders: what you bought, from whom, when, and what you paid.
• Delivery addresses, if you save any. Only the kitchen fulfilling an order sees the address for it.
• Which city you are browsing, so the feed shows kitchens near you. You pick the city yourself — the app does not read your location, and does not ask for permission to.
• If you sell: your kitchen’s details, menu and media, plus the identifier of your Stripe account.

What we do not collect

No card numbers and no bank details — those go directly to Stripe and never touch Hatch’s servers. No advertising identifiers. No tracking across other apps or websites. Hatch runs no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Who sees it

• Kitchens see the orders placed with them: your first name, what you ordered, your note, and a delivery address if it is a delivery.
• Stripe processes payments and receives what it needs to do that.
• Nobody else. Hatch does not sell data and does not share it for advertising.

Notifications

If you allow them, Hatch sends notifications about your orders, and about kitchens you have bought from or saved. Every one of them is also written to an inbox inside the app, so turning notifications off never loses you a message.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete my account, inside the app. It removes your account, saved kitchens, addresses, inbox and reviews. Completed orders remain because the kitchen you bought from has its own records and Stripe has retention obligations. If you had a kitchen, its window closes and its listing is cleared.

Keeping it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and payment rules require. Everything else is deleted when you delete your account.
